The Amarillo CollegeĀ is a non-profit and tax exempted establishment, trying to improve perfection at Amarillo College. The Foundation is represented by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Foundation exists to request and oversee endowments and gifts for the profit of Amarillo College, its students, teachers and staff, its offices and programs. Amarillo College was established in 1929, and widely known as a public community college committed to giving instructive, social and group administrations and resources to upgrade the personal satisfaction for the differing populace in its West Texas servicing region.
Location
Amarillo College is a multi-campus institute and currently has six different campuses and an effort focus in three Texas regions. Managerial workplaces are positioned at the Washington Street Campus in the city of Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.
Enlistment/Curriculum
The Institute is offering about 143 degree and certificate programs to the successful students. Fall 2013 Scholastic enlistment was 10,824, and an extra 25,000 zone inhabitants enjoyed AC’s copious grouping of professional growth and individual enhancement courses under the umbrella of Continuing Education.

Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart is the fourteenth president of Amarillo College. He accepted office in September 2014 after four years of administration to the College as VP of scholarly undertakings.
