Brief History

Baylor College of Medicine old campus

The college was formed in Dallas, Texas. In 1900, a tiny group of alumni physicians at the Baylor University decided to improve their medical performance in North Texas, and then this college came into existence. Though the fledgling school was known as the University of Dallas Medical Department, even though, no similar university existed. The school started offering educational programs on 30th Oct, 1900.
